The ACT Z65-HDR6 Heavy Duty Race clutch kit is engineered for high-performance applications where rapid shifting and high heat capacity are required. This kit features the ACT Heavy Duty pressure plate, which utilizes an exclusive diaphragm design to increase clamp load and reduce deflection. Each diaphragm undergoes a specialized four-stage heat-treating process to ensure consistent performance and extended service life.
The included 6-pad rigid race disc is built with high-quality ceramic friction materials and a heat-treated chrome-moly hub for maximum strength. While engagement is significantly harsher than a street-spec disc, the lightweight rigid design allows for faster shifts and better heat absorption in larger clutch sizes.
