This kit pairs ACT's Heavy Duty pressure plate with a 6-pad rigid race disc to provide a significant increase in clamp load and torque capacity. The pressure plate features a proprietary diaphragm design that undergoes a four-stage heat-treating process to reduce deflection and maximize service life, while precision cover stampings ensure consistent performance under load.

The 6-pad rigid race disc uses high-quality ceramic friction materials and a heat-treated chrome-moly hub for maximum strength. Designed without springs, this lightweight rigid hub allows for the quickest possible gear changes. Note that while shifting speed is improved, engagement will be significantly harsher than a street-spec disc. This setup is ideal for larger clutch sizes that require superior heat absorption during repeated high-stress cycling.
