The ACT MB2-HDSS kit combines a Heavy Duty pressure plate with a Performance Street sprung disc to deliver a significant increase in clamp load and torque capacity while maintaining smooth engagement. Engineered for the demands of the twin-turbo 6G72 platform, this kit utilizes ACT's exclusive diaphragm design, which undergoes a specialized four-stage heat-treating process to reduce deflection and maximize service life.
The included Performance Street disc is constructed with premium organic friction materials featuring high copper content for superior heat transfer. Steel-backed linings provide high burst strength, while a reduced marcel design enables faster shift action to complement the high-clamp pressure plate.
