The ACT ZM2-HDR4 HD/Race Rigid 4 Pad Clutch Kit is engineered for competitive use where shifting speed and high-heat durability are paramount. This kit features the ACT Heavy Duty pressure plate, which uses an exclusive diaphragm design to increase clamp load and minimize deflection. Every diaphragm undergoes a four-stage heat-treating process to ensure consistent pedal feel and long-term reliability. Precision-stamped covers provide the structural rigidity needed for high-RPM applications.
The 4-pad rigid race disc is built with premium ceramic friction materials and a heat-treated chrome-moly hub for exceptional strength. Its lightweight, rigid design reduces rotational inertia, enabling faster shifts. While engagement is significantly harsher than a standard organic disc, this configuration is ideal for the smaller disc sizes and high-response requirements of the Mazda B-series engines.
