The ACT GM9-HDSS kit features the Heavy Duty pressure plate paired with a Performance Street sprung disc, a combination engineered to provide increased clamp load and quicker shifting for high-performance street applications. The Heavy Duty pressure plate utilizes an exclusive diaphragm design to maximize clutch life while reducing deflection. Every diaphragm undergoes a specialized four-stage heat-treating process to ensure unparalleled consistency and performance under high-stress conditions.
The included Performance Street disc is constructed with premium organic friction materials featuring high copper content for superior heat transfer. Steel-backed linings provide the burst strength required for high-RPM durability, while the reduced marcel design enables faster gear engagement.
