The ACT AR1-XTSS kit is engineered for the demanding driver, featuring the Xtreme pressure plate paired with a Performance Street sprung disc. This combination provides a significant increase in clamp load while maintaining the smooth engagement necessary for daily street use. The Xtreme pressure plate utilizes a proprietary diaphragm design that undergoes a rigorous four-stage heat-treating process to minimize deflection and maximize service life.
The Performance Street disc is ACT's most popular option, constructed from premium organic materials with high copper content for superior heat transfer. Steel-backed linings offer increased burst strength, while reduced marcel ensures faster shift action.
