The ACT XACT Prolite Flywheel (MPN 600170) is engineered specifically for racing and high-performance applications where rapid engine response and acceleration are critical. This flywheel features a one-piece forged construction that eliminates common failure points found in multi-piece designs, such as warped inserts or loose ring gears. This design ensures uniform, efficient heat transfer away from the clutch disc to maintain consistent performance under load.
Each flywheel is CNC machined from heat-treated forgings for maximum toughness and dynamically computer-balanced to ensure smooth operation at high RPMs. For long-term durability, the ring gears are induction-hardened to prevent premature wear.
