The AEM 21-772C Performance Cold Air Intake System is engineered to reduce intake restriction and heat soak by replacing the restrictive factory air box and paper filter. This system features a mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube finished in a durable gunmetal gray powder coat, ensuring smooth, laminar airflow directly to the engine's throttle body for improved throttle response.

At the heart of the system is an oversized AEM Dryflow synthetic air filter. This oil-free, washable media provides high-efficiency filtration and can perform for up to 100,000 miles between cleanings under normal highway driving conditions. The included heat shield is designed to isolate the filter from engine bay heat, allowing the engine to draw in cooler, denser outside air to improve combustion efficiency.

Designed as a direct bolt-on upgrade, this kit utilizes factory mounting points and is developed to accommodate the original mass airflow (MAF) sensor and engine emissions control devices.
