The AEM 21-784C Performance Cold Air Intake System is engineered to increase horsepower and torque by replacing the restrictive factory air filter and intake housing. This system features a mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube finished in a durable gunmetal gray powder coat, providing a smooth path for airflow. It is specifically designed to accommodate factory emissions control devices, including the mass air flow (MAF) sensor and PCV hose, for a straightforward installation that maintains critical engine management parameters.

A primary feature of this kit is the oversized AEM Dryflow synthetic air filter. This oil-free, washable media provides high-efficiency filtration and can be used for up to 100,000 miles before servicing is required under normal highway driving conditions. The system also includes a custom-engineered heat shield that installs in the original air box location to protect the intake charge from high engine bay temperatures.
