The AEM 21-797C Performance Cold Air Intake System is engineered to improve throttle response and engine sound by replacing the restrictive factory air box and paper filter. This system features a mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube with a durable gunmetal gray powder-coated finish for a clean under-hood appearance and long-lasting protection against corrosion.
At the heart of this kit is an oversized AEM Dryflow synthetic air filter. This oil-free, washable media provides excellent filtration and can go up to 100,000 miles before servicing is required, depending on driving conditions. The included heat shield is designed to block radiant heat from the engine bay, ensuring cooler, denser air reaches the intake for better performance. The 21-797C is designed for a direct-fit installation using common tools, mounting to factory points, and accommodating original emissions control devices including the breather hose.
