The AEM 21-836WR Performance Cold Air Intake System is engineered to improve engine breathing by replacing the restrictive factory air box and paper filter. This system features a mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube with a durable wrinkle red powder-coated finish, specifically designed to maintain compatibility with the factory mass air flow (MAF) sensor and emissions equipment.
Air is drawn through an oversized AEM Dryflow synthetic air filter, which utilizes oil-free media for consistent filtration and easy maintenance. The filter is positioned within a custom heat shield designed to block radiant engine heat, ensuring a cooler, denser air charge enters the engine. This direct-fit upgrade installs in the factory air box location using standard hand tools.
- Mandrel-bent aluminum tubing with wrinkle red finish for smooth airflow and heat resistance.
- AEM Dryflow oil-free synthetic filter is washable and reusable for up to 100,000 miles between cleanings.
