AEM 21-872C Cold Air Intake System for 2019-2021 Hyundai Veloster (L4-1.6L)

Fits 2019-2021 Hyundai Veloster Turbo, Turbo R-Spec, and Turbo Ultimate (L4-1.6L).

The AEM 21-872C Cold Air Intake System is engineered to increase horsepower and torque by replacing the restrictive factory air filter and intake housing with a free-flowing, mandrel-bent aluminum induction tube. This system was specifically designed, tuned, and dyno-tested to optimize the air charge for the 1.6L turbocharged engine. The intake relocates the filter to the original air box location, where it is protected by a custom-designed heat shield to minimize intake air temperatures and prevent heat soak.

The system features an oversized AEM Dryflow synthetic air filter. This oil-free, washable media provides excellent filtration and airflow while requiring significantly less maintenance than oiled filters, with service intervals up to 100,000 miles depending on driving conditions. The aluminum intake tube is finished in a durable gunmetal gray powder coat and includes all necessary ports to accommodate factory emissions control devices, such as the mass airflow (MAF) sensor and breather tube.
