The aFe POWER Momentum GT intake system is engineered to optimize airflow and thermal management for BMW and Mini 2.0L turbo engines. The system centers around a custom, CAD-designed housing made from heat-resistant XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene), which protects the intake charge from engine bay heat soak. This sealed, one-piece housing features a patent-pending filter-to-housing interface that reduces the number of components for a simplified installation and a large, clear sight window for easy filter inspections without disassembly.

Air is drawn through a 6-1/2" tall, 360-degree radial flow Pro DRY S filter. This filter uses three layers of oil-free synthetic media, providing maximum convenience for street use while maintaining high filtration efficiency. The intake also features a dyno-tuned XLPE intake tube, premium bellows couplings for engine movement flexibility, and high-quality stainless-steel worm clamps. This system is designed to bolt directly to factory mounting locations and is compatible with the factory strut bar.
