The aFe POWER Takeda Momentum cold air intake system is engineered to optimize airflow for the 2.5L Subaru engine, delivering dyno-proven gains of up to +10 HP and +8 lbs. x ft. of torque. This system features a sealed housing constructed from heat-resistant XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene) polymer to protect the intake charge from extreme engine bay temperatures. An integrated clear sight window allows for easy filter inspection without requiring disassembly, while a built-in Helmholtz chamber helps minimize cabin drone during acceleration.

The included Pro 5R air filter is a 7-1/2” tall, 360-degree radial flow performance filter featuring five layers of progressively finer cotton gauze media. This pre-oiled media offers the highest possible airflow for maximum power gains on the street or track. The patent-pending filter-to-housing interface simplifies the installation by reducing the number of components, and the system utilizes factory air inlets with no additional hardware, cutting, or drilling required.
