The aFe Power Momentum GT intake system is engineered to outflow the restrictive factory air box while protecting your engine from performance-robbing heat soak. At the heart of this system is the Pro 5R air filter, a 360-degree radial flow unit featuring five layers of progressively finer pre-oiled cotton gauze media. This design provides maximum airflow for street use, while an inverted top increases filter surface area to extend service intervals. The filter connects to the housing using a patented filter-to-housing interface (US PAT 9440175) that simplifies installation and maximizes filter size.

The sealed intake housing is rotationally molded from heat-resistant cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) for extreme durability. It features a built-in air inlet scoop and an optional auxiliary inlet to pull in additional cool air when needed. Maintenance is streamlined via a large, clear sight window for quick filter inspections and a design that allows filter removal by simply detaching the computer-designed, dyno-tuned intake tube. The kit includes premium stainless-steel clamps and a flexible bellows coupling for a secure, factory-style fit.
