Fits select 1983-2014 Ford Bronco, Explorer, F-150, Mustang, and Ranger models equipped with the Ford 8.8 rear axle.
The aFe POWER rear differential cover is engineered to provide superior cooling and protection for your Ford 8.8 axle. Constructed from durable cast aluminum, this cover features internal and external fins to dissipate heat efficiently from the gear oil to the ambient air. It adds approximately 0.5 quart of oil capacity over the factory unit, supporting better lubrication and performance over long-distance towing or high-stress driving.
Maintenance is simplified with a neodymium magnetic drain plug that captures metallic debris to protect gears, along with a calibration plug set to the factory oil level to prevent overfilling. The cover is finished in raw aluminum with machined fins for a rugged, technical look. RTV silicone is included for a complete installation.
