Designed for the 2.3L EcoBoost Ford Ranger, this system replaces the restrictive factory air box with a custom-engineered, heat-resistant cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) housing. The one-piece sealed housing features a patented filter-to-housing interface that reduces the total part count for a simplified installation while integrating seamlessly with the factory air inlet scoop.
This system includes the high-performance Pro 5R air filter, featuring five layers of progressively finer, pre-oiled cotton gauze media. The 360-degree radial flow design and inverted top increase surface area, providing maximum airflow and extending service intervals. A built-in clear sight window allows for quick filter inspections without disassembling the intake. The computer-designed, dyno-tuned intake tube ensures optimized air velocity for consistent power gains across the RPM range.
