This performance upgrade replaces the restrictive factory air box with a precision-designed, molded plastic intake tube engineered to maximize airflow volume and velocity. By smoothing out the intake path, this system helps optimize power delivery and throttle response.
The assembly features a heavy-duty 16-gauge powder-coated heat shield that snaps directly onto the factory air box base for a secure, rattle-free fit. A included powder-coated steel or brushed aluminum cover blocks radiant engine heat while directing a steady supply of cool air to the filter. The Pro 5R filter utilizes five layers of progressively finer medical-grade cotton gauze media, providing 360-degree airflow in a washable and reusable design.
