The aFe Power Momentum GT intake system is engineered to provide maximum performance and airflow for the BMW N13 engine, outflowing the factory intake by up to 15%. This system features a unique one-piece sealed housing made from heat-resistant black cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE), which incorporates an auxiliary air inlet for increased volume. The CAD-designed, dyno-tuned intake tube is roto-molded to maintain smooth airflow and ensure a precise fit against factory mounting points.
This system centers around a large, 9-inch tall Pro 5R performance air filter. The 5-layer progressively finer mesh cotton gauze media is pre-oiled and washable for long-term use. Installation is straightforward with high-quality stainless steel clamps, a durable silicone coupling, and a unique filter-to-housing interface that simplifies servicing.
