The aFe Momentum GT Pro 5R Cold Air Intake System is engineered to optimize airflow and increase performance for your B58-powered BMW. This system outflows the factory intake by up to 28%, utilizing a CAD-designed, dyno-tuned, roto-molded intake tube to maximize air volume while ensuring a precise fit. The unique one-piece sealed housing includes an auxiliary air inlet for additional flow and a built-in clear sight window for quick filter inspections. For a motorsport-inspired aesthetic, the housing features a high-gloss 2x2 twill-weave carbon fiber trim overlay.
This system centers on the Pro 5R performance air filter—an 8-3/4" oval, 360-degree radial flow filter featuring five layers of progressively finer mesh cotton gauze media. This oiled media provides maximum airflow and filtration efficiency. Installation is a direct bolt-on process requiring no cutting or drilling of factory parts, utilizing high-temperature reinforced silicone couplings and premium stainless steel clamps for a secure seal.
