The aFe Power Momentum intake system is engineered around a smooth, one-piece sealed housing that eliminates restrictive paths and heat soak. Constructed from heat-resistant cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE), the housing features a patent-pending filter-to-housing interface that simplifies installation by reducing the number of individual parts. A clear sight window allows for quick filter inspections without disassembling the intake tract.
This system utilizes the high-performance Pro 5R air filter, a 6-inch tall 360-degree radial flow unit featuring five layers of progressively finer cotton gauze media. The pre-oiled media is designed for maximum airflow and power gains on both the street and track, while an inverted filter top provides additional surface area for extended service intervals. The kit is finished with a computer-designed, dyno-tuned intake tube and premium hardware for a precise factory-style fit.
