The aFe Takeda Stage-2 Cold Air Intake System is engineered to optimize airflow and throttle response for the VQ35DE engine platform. This system replaces the restrictive factory intake with lightweight, clear-coat anodized polished aluminum tubing designed to maintain high air velocity and a clean engine bay aesthetic. It utilizes a massive 360-degree Pro DRY S air filter featuring three layers of oil-free synthetic media, providing a 34% CFM flow gain over the stock unit while simplifying maintenance—no oils required, simply clean with soap and water.
