The aFe Takeda Momentum Cold Air Intake is engineered to maximize airflow while providing superior thermal insulation. The system features a custom one-piece sealed housing constructed from heat-resistant XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene) that utilizes the factory mounting points for a direct-fit installation. A large, clear sight window allows for quick filter inspections without disassembling the airbox, and the computer-designed, dyno-tuned intake tube ensures optimized power gains while maintaining a factory-perfect fit.

This system utilizes the Pro 5R air filter, a 7-1/2 inch tall 360-degree radial flow filter featuring five layers of progressively finer pre-oiled cotton gauze media. The inverted top design increases filter surface area for longer service intervals, and the silicone bellows coupling allows for engine movement while maintaining a secure seal. The innovative filter-to-housing interface reduces the number of components, allowing for a complete installation in roughly 30 minutes.
