The Takeda Momentum GT Cold Air Intake System is engineered to optimize airflow and reduce intake temperatures for the turbocharged Lexus IS. At the heart of this system is a custom CAD-designed, roto-molded housing made from heat-resistant black cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE). This housing features a unique filter-to-housing interface and a large clear sight window, allowing for easy filter inspection without requiring disassembly of the airbox.
This system utilizes the Pro Dry S performance air filter—a 7-1/2 inch tall, oil-free, 360-degree radial flow filter featuring three layers of progressively finer synthetic media. This design provides maximum convenience and filtration efficiency for daily street use. The dyno-tuned intake tube ensures a precise fit and maximum power gains by maintaining smooth airflow paths. Installation is straightforward and requires no cutting or drilling of factory components.
