The aFe Takeda Momentum Pro 5R Cold Air Intake is engineered to maximize airflow and performance for your 1.6L turbocharged engine. This system features a unique, one-piece sealed housing made from heat-resistant cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) that minimizes air intake temperatures. The housing incorporates a patent-pending filter-to-housing interface that simplifies installation by reducing the number of components. A dyno-tuned, computer-designed XLPE intake tube ensures laminar flow and consistent power gains while resisting heat soak.
The heart of this system is the Pro 5R performance air filter. Standing 7-1/2 inches tall with a 360-degree radial flow design, this pre-oiled filter uses five layers of progressively finer cotton gauze to achieve maximum flow. Its inverted top provides additional surface area for longer service intervals. This kit includes high-quality stainless-steel clamps, reinforced silicone couplings, and billet aluminum fittings to ensure a secure, factory-style fitment for all stock connections.
