The Takeda Momentum cold air intake system is engineered to optimize airflow and engine protection for late-model Mazdas. This system features a sealed housing and intake tube rotomolded from durable, heat-soak resistant XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene). A clear sight window allows for quick filter inspections without requiring any disassembly. The design utilizes a patent-pending filter-to-housing interface that reduces the number of components for a cleaner, more simplified installation.
This kit includes the Pro DRY S air filter—a 7-1/2 inch tall, oil-free, 360-degree conical filter featuring three layers of synthetic media for maximum convenience. It is specifically designed for street and light off-road use, outflowing the factory intake by 33%. This is a direct-fit system that uses factory mounting points and the OE air inlet, requiring no cutting or permanent vehicle modifications.
