Upgrade your Mazda 3's breathing with the aFe Takeda Stage-2 Cold Air Intake System. This system features a high-quality, one-piece XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene) polymer housing designed to minimize heat soak and resist engine bay temperatures. The open-element design allows for easy inspection of the massive Pro 5R air filter while creating a tight, heat-blocking seal against the hood when closed. This intake is engineered to utilize the factory air inlet and includes an optional auxiliary air inlet to pull in additional cool air from the front of the vehicle under load.
- Performance Gains: Delivers an estimated +9 HP and +8 lbs. x ft. of torque.
- Increased Airflow: Outflows the factory intake system by 71% with a measured flow of 325 CFM @ 7" H2O.
- Pro 5R Filtration: Features a 5-layer washable and reusable oiled cotton gauze media for maximum airflow and high filtration efficiency.
