The aFe Takeda Stage-2 intake system is engineered to provide maximum airflow and performance for the Hyundai Veloster N. This system features a high-quality, CAD-designed intake tube constructed from heat-resistant XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene) to prevent heat soak and ensure durability under high engine bay temperatures. The open-element housing captures fresh air from behind the front grille via an integrated scoop, while the patent-pending filter-to-housing interface simplifies installation by reducing the total number of parts required.
At the core of this system is the Pro 5R performance air filter. This 360-degree radial flow filter uses five layers of progressively finer cotton gauze media, pre-oiled for maximum filtration efficiency and high flow. The inverted top design increases surface area, allowing for longer service intervals even in demanding conditions. This direct-fit system utilizes factory mounting points and includes billet aluminum fittings for a seamless transition of stock connections.
