The Airaid PowerAid Throttle Body Spacer is engineered to boost off-idle torque and mid-range performance by optimizing the air charge entering the intake manifold. Featuring a patented Helix Bore design, this spacer uses a rifled internal surface to induce a spinning action in the incoming air. This cyclonic effect increases air velocity and improves the atomization of the air/fuel mixture as it reaches the combustion chamber, resulting in stronger throttle response and enhanced towing capacity in the 800 to 2,500 RPM range.

CNC-machined from 6061-T6 billet aircraft-grade aluminum, this 1-inch thick spacer is finished with a black anodized coating for superior durability. Installation Notes: Installation requires a 10mm socket or wrench, a flat blade screwdriver, and a ratchet with an extension. The process involves disconnecting the battery, removing the factory intake tube and resonator, and unbolting the throttle body to place the spacer and gaskets between the body and intake manifold. Included extension brackets relocate factory components, such as the engine beauty cover, to account for the additional 1-inch height.
