This Akrapovic Slip-On Line exhaust system is engineered from lightweight, high-grade titanium alloys to reduce weight and improve the acoustic profile of the S68 engine. The system features a sophisticated muffler design with dual valves—one on each side—to precisely manage exhaust gas flow and deliver a deeper, more resonant tone that remains distinct from the factory M Sport setup.

The construction includes complex components cast in Akrapovic's in-house titanium foundry, specifically the valve housings and collectors. The system is finished with two sets of handcrafted carbon fiber and titanium tailpipes, providing a high-end aesthetic that complements the BMW M-series styling. During dyno testing against a stock M Sport exhaust, this system achieved measurable gains of 12.1 hp and 35.4 Nm of torque at 2,400 rpm.
