The factory bypass valve (BPV) spring is often calibrated with a low tension that can lead to premature venting or slow closing, especially on modified vehicles. This heavy-duty upgrade ensures the valve remains sealed under high-load conditions and snaps shut faster after shifts, recovering boost pressure more efficiently.
