The AMS Performance Turbo Inlet Upgrade is engineered to eliminate the significant airflow bottleneck found in the factory intake system. By replacing the restrictive factory components near the turbochargers, this upgrade provides a more efficient path for air to reach the turbines, resulting in improved throttle response and measurable power gains. AMS testing showed an increase of approximately 20 HP by simply optimizing the intake path.
