Old Man Emu (OME) rear coil springs are engineered to improve ride control and load-carrying performance for the 2024+ Toyota Tacoma. Manufactured from high-strength, micro-alloyed spring steel, these coils are designed to resist sagging and corrosion over time. Each spring is formed on computer-controlled mandrels for precise consistency and finished in a durable black powder coat to withstand harsh off-road environments.
To ensure long-term durability and reliability, OME subjects these springs to a double-scragging process before and after shot peening. This reduces internal stress and significantly enhances the service life of the component. For optimal performance, these springs are designed to work as a part of a fully integrated suspension system when matched with OME shock absorbers.
