Old Man Emu BP-51 coilovers represent a significant leap in suspension technology for the fourth-generation Tacoma. These user-adjustable internal bypass shock absorbers provide position-sensitive damping, allowing for a plush ride during normal travel while increasing stiffness at the end of the stroke to prevent bottoming out. Designed for the rigors of off-road use, the BP-51 series allows for independent on-vehicle tuning of both compression and rebound to accommodate varying loads and terrain types.
- Internal Bypass Technology: Provides position-sensitive damping for superior comfort and control across all suspension zones.
- Independent Adjustment: 10 levels of compression and 10 levels of rebound adjustment can be dialed in while mounted on the vehicle.
- Premium Construction: 6061-grade aluminum shock body with a Type III hard-anodized finish for maximum heat dissipation and corrosion resistance.
- Remote Reservoir: External oil reservoir increases oil capacity, aiding in cooling during extended high-speed off-road sections.
