The ARB Old Man Emu BP-51 (Bypass 51mm diameter) suspension kit brings racing-inspired bypass technology to your daily driver and weekend trail rig. Unlike traditional shocks where damping is only speed-dependent, these internal bypass shocks are position-sensitive. This design provides a plush, compliant ride during normal travel while increasing damping force at the ends of the stroke to prevent harsh bottoming out or topping out during aggressive off-road maneuvers.
Each BP-51 shock is constructed from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum for superior heat dissipation and corrosion resistance. The system allows for independent, on-vehicle adjustment of both compression and rebound, giving you the ability to tune your suspension for varying loads and terrain without removing the components.
