The Old Man Emu BP-51 (Bypass 51mm) suspension system provides a professional-grade damping solution for the 5th Gen 4Runner. Unlike traditional velocity-sensitive shocks, BP-51 dampers utilize internal bypass technology to offer position-sensitive damping. This results in a plush, compliant ride during normal travel that progressively firms up at the ends of the stroke to manage harsh impacts and prevent bottoming out during high-speed off-road maneuvers.

This kit is specifically tuned for 4Runners with moderate front-end weight (0-330 lbs), such as those equipped with hidden winch mounts or lightweight aftermarket bumpers, and a standard rear load. The 6061-T6 aluminum bodies ensure rapid heat dissipation to prevent shock fade during extended corrugated road travel.
