As part of ARB's integrated 4X4 suspension systems, the Old Man Emu Dakar leaf spring is engineered to provide optimum ride performance and improved load-carrying capability. These springs are manufactured using high-grade materials and rigorous testing protocols to ensure they handle both recreational off-roading and commercial applications. For the best handling characteristics, pair these springs with Old Man Emu 4X4 shock absorbers.
- Military Wrap Design: Provides an added layer of safety by wrapping the leaf end around the spring eye.
- Interleaf Pads: Re-greasable nylon anti-friction pads reduce noise and friction at the leaf tips.
- Durability Treatment: Shot peened to reduce spring stress and increase service life; fully scragged to minimize the risk of sagging over time.
- Precision Engineering: Draw-tapered and diamond cut leaves ensure even load distribution, while a flat axle seat area provides a secure mounting surface.
- Secure Fitment: Bolted leaf clamps allow for the installation of anti-squeak nylon liners.
