Old Man Emu EL100R leaf springs are engineered to provide optimum ride performance and handling for the Chevrolet Colorado, regardless of terrain. These medium-load springs feature a two-stage leaf pack design that balances unladen ride comfort with the support needed for increased load-carrying capability. For the best results, these springs are designed to be matched with Old Man Emu 4x4 shock absorbers to create a tuned suspension system.

- Military Wrap: Provides added safety by wrapping the second leaf around the spring eye
- Anti-Friction Pads: Re-greasable nylon interleaf pads reduce friction and noise at the leaf tips
- Shot Peened: Leaves are shot-peened to reduce internal stress and significantly increase spring life
- Fully Scragged: Pre-tested to its yield point to reduce the risk of sagging after installation
- Axle Seat: Flat axle seat area ensures a positive, safe mount and minimizes spring stress
- Construction: Draw-tapered and diamond-cut leaves ensure consistent load distribution
- Leaf Clamps: Bolted clamps allow for the installation of anti-squeak nylon liners
