As a core component of ARB's integrated 4X4 suspension systems, the Old Man Emu Dakar leaf spring is engineered to provide optimum ride performance across a variety of operating conditions. These springs deliver significantly improved handling and load-carrying capacity compared to factory units, especially when paired with OME 4X4 shock absorbers.
Construction quality is prioritized for long-term durability. Each spring (MPN: CS030R) is shot-peened to reduce internal stress and fully scragged to minimize the risk of sagging. The two-stage leaf pack design optimizes comfort by providing a supple ride during light use while maintaining the support needed for heavy payloads.
- Military wrap design provides an extra layer of safety for the main leaf
- Re-greasable nylon interleaf anti-friction pads reduce noise and wear at the leaf tips
- Flat axle seat area ensures a positive, safe mount and reduces overall spring stress
- Bolted leaf clamps allow for the installation of anti-squeak nylon liners
- Draw-tapered and diamond-cut leaves ensure optimal load distribution
