The ARP Pro Series Cylinder Head Stud Kit provides the superior clamping force necessary to prevent head gasket failure in high-performance and forced-induction 2004-up Chevrolet LS engines. Unlike factory torque-to-yield (TTY) bolts that stretch and must be replaced after every use, these ARP studs provide a more accurate torque load and are completely reusable, making them an essential upgrade for any engine build or head swap.
- Engineered for 2004+ LS blocks utilizing equal-length head studs
- Manufactured from premium 8740 chrome moly steel
- Heat-treated to 200,000 psi tensile strength for maximum reliability
- Threads are rolled after heat treatment for 1000% higher fatigue strength than studs threaded prior to heat treat
- Includes all necessary studs, parallel-ground washers, and 12-point nuts
- Black oxide finish for corrosion resistance
