By using studs instead of bolts, you ensure more accurate torque loading and prevent threads from pulling out of the engine block.
Constructed from premium 8740 chrome moly steel, these studs are heat-treated to a tensile strength of 190,000 psi. The threads are rolled after heat treatment, a process that results in significantly higher fatigue strength compared to studs with threads cut before heat treating. This kit is essential for any high-compression or forced-induction A-Series build to prevent head gasket failure and cylinder head lifting.
