The ARP 201-4701 Head Stud Kit is a critical upgrade for high-performance BMW B58 3.0L engines. Designed to replace factory torque-to-yield (TTY) head bolts, these studs provide the superior clamping force required to maintain a reliable head gasket seal under the increased cylinder pressures of high-boost or high-compression applications. Unlike OE bolts that must be discarded after a single use, these ARP2000 studs are reusable and offer more accurate torque loading during engine assembly.
- Manufactured from high-strength ARP2000 alloy
- 12-point nuts for easier socket access in compact cylinder head areas
- Threads are rolled after heat-treatment for maximum fatigue resistance
- Provides more consistent clamping force than factory fasteners
- Includes premium parallel-ground washers and assembly lubricant
