The ARP 201-5001 Main Stud Kit is an essential upgrade for any high-performance BMW M10 or S14 build. Unlike factory main bolts that stretch during installation and under high load, these studs provide superior clamping force to keep the crankshaft properly seated and prevent main cap walk. This kit is manufactured from 8740 chrome moly steel, heat-treated to 200,000 psi tensile strength, and precision-ground with threads rolled after heat treatment for maximum fatigue strength.
