Forged from premium 8740 chrome moly steel and heat-treated to a 200,000 psi tensile strength rating, these fasteners are significantly stronger than OEM Grade 8 hardware. The 12-point head design provides more surface area for socket engagement, while the larger-than-stock shank diameter ensures a precise flywheel register to prevent shearing and vibration under high-load conditions.
