These studs are a critical upgrade for any performance build, providing significantly more clamping force than factory head bolts to prevent the head from lifting during high cylinder pressure events.
Manufactured from proprietary ARP2000 alloy, these fasteners are heat-treated to a tensile strength of approximately 220,000 psi. The threads are rolled after heat treatment, which improves fatigue life by up to 10 times compared to fasteners threaded before heat treat. This kit comes complete with premium-quality parallel ground washers and 12-point nuts to ensure even load distribution across the cylinder head.
