Fits Nissan Pulsar GTi-R models equipped with the SR20DET engine utilizing 12mm head bolts.
The ARP 202-4303 head stud kit is a critical upgrade for high-performance SR20DET builds, specifically the Pulsar GTi-R variant which requires 12mm studs rather than the standard 11mm found in other chassis. These studs provide the uniform clamping force necessary to prevent head gasket failure and cylinder head lifting under high boost pressures and increased combustion temperatures.
Each stud is manufactured from premium 8740 chromoly steel, heat-treated to a 200,000 psi tensile strength rating. The threads are rolled after heat treatment to ensure superior fatigue strength and precision fitment. This kit includes all necessary hardware to replace the factory head bolts, providing a more reliable seal for the cylinder head to the engine block.
