Essential for high-performance VR38 builds, the ARP Main Stud Kit (MPN 202-5802) provides the superior clamping force required to secure the main caps and maintain precise crankshaft alignment. Unlike factory main bolts that can stretch under extreme cylinder pressure, these high-strength fasteners prevent main cap walk and ensure more consistent load distribution on the main bearings. Whether you are performing a standard rebuild or a high-horsepower build, these studs offer the reliability needed for heavy-duty street and track use.
- Manufactured from premium 8740 chrome moly steel
- Heat-treated to a 200,000 psi tensile strength rating
- Precision J-form threads rolled after heat treatment for maximum fatigue resistance
- Includes all necessary main studs, parallel-ground washers, and 12-point nuts
