Fits select 1997-2016 Cadillac CTS-V, Chevrolet Camaro, Corvette, SS, SSR, and Pontiac Firebird, G8, and GTO models equipped with Small Block Chevy LS-based engines using the 2003 and earlier head bolt configuration.
Standard head bolts are designed to stretch during installation, which can compromise the seal between the cylinder head and block under high-performance conditions. This ARP Head Stud Kit (MPN 234-4344) provides the superior clamping force required to prevent head lifting and gasket failure in high-compression, turbocharged, or supercharged LS builds. Each stud is centerless ground to ensure perfect concentricity and heat-treated to 200,000 psi tensile strength.
- Specifically designed for LS blocks utilizing the 2003 and earlier style head bolt lengths
- Manufactured from premium 8740 chromoly steel for maximum reliability
- Threads are rolled after heat-treatment to provide 10x better fatigue strength than studs threaded before heat-treat
- Kit includes high-strength 12-point nuts and premium parallel-ground washers
