Engineered for high-performance applications, the ARP 134-3609 Hex Head Bolt Kit provides superior clamping force and reliability for Small Block Chevy LS1 and LS6 engines. Unlike factory torque-to-yield (TTY) bolts that must be discarded after a single use, these ARP fasteners are crafted from premium grade 8740 chrome moly steel and heat-treated to 180,000 psi tensile strength. This ensures a consistent seal between the cylinder head and engine block, preventing head gasket failure under high combustion pressures.
