The ATI Super Damper harmonic balancer (MPN ATI918620U) provides essential protection against torsional crankshaft vibrations that can lead to engine failure. This 7.48-inch damper features a lightweight aluminum shell to minimize rotating mass and a 3-ring internal design for superior vibration dampening across the RPM range. The 10% underdrive configuration reduces parasitic drag from accessories to improve power delivery, while the 8-rib and 4-rib pulley arrangement maintains full compatibility with OEM air conditioning systems.
